They both graduated from the National Film School in 2004 (at IADT, Dún Laoghaire) with first class honours. Since then, they have worked in various different capacities on many interesting projects at a professional level. Ruth has sound edited for studios in New York, while Julianne gained experience working on feature films with producers such as Jerry Bruckheimer.

Both Ruth and Julianne have a lot of experience in teaching. Julianne previously taught an acting for camera course whilst Ruth has lectured in sound, and both have run numerous transition year filmmaking workshops. Alongside the Digital Film School they run a successful production company, Tailored Films, which specialises in web-movies, corporate promotional videos, ads and short films. Their online series 'Zombie Bashers' won the RTE Storyland competition in 2010, and in 2011 they produced their first Irish Film Board funded feature film, "Stitches", starring well known comedian Ross Noble. Tailored Films is now working on the development of a number of feature film and TV projects.
